醫(yī)院是規(guī)模龐大且功能復(fù)雜的建筑類型，往往因追求效率與機能而呈現(xiàn)出一種單調(diào)的范式，顯得無趣且雷同。我們不禁要問：真的沒有其他可能嗎？

Hospitals are large-scale and highly complex architectural types, often characterized by a monotonous paradigm in the pursuit of efficiency and functionality, making them appear dull and homogeneous. This leads us to wonder: is there truly no other possibility?

城市尺度

Urban Scale

江陰市新中醫(yī)院雖坐落于新興城區(qū)，仍能展現(xiàn)出江南小城獨有的尺度韻味。針對大規(guī)模醫(yī)療建筑常見的雙病區(qū)長條形主樓設(shè)計，本設(shè)計巧妙地將兩個病區(qū)錯位布置，并以流暢的弧線相連。這一變化不僅成功應(yīng)對了城市尺度的挑戰(zhàn)，還塑造出一個連續(xù)又統(tǒng)一的建筑形象。更重要的是，這樣的布局提升了兩個病區(qū)公共區(qū)域的導(dǎo)向性，同時也優(yōu)化了空間品質(zhì)，為患者提供了更加舒適的就醫(yī)環(huán)境。

Although situated in a newly developed district, the Jiangyin New Central Hospital captures the distinctive sense of scale unique to small Jiangnan towns. In response to the typical long, linear design of large-scale hospital buildings with dual ward blocks, this design adopts a clever staggered arrangement of the two wards, connected by a graceful, flowing curve. This innovative approach not only addresses the challenges of urban scale but also creates a continuous and cohesive architectural identity. More importantly, this layout enhances the orientation of public spaces in both wards, optimizes spatial quality, and provides a more comfortable healthcare environment for patients.

Transportation Connectivity

在交通組織上，除了常規(guī)車流得到了妥善處理，多種交通方式的無縫銜接也得到了重視。建筑的東南角被預(yù)留了一個下沉式城市廣場，與在建的地鐵站點緊密相連。下沉廣場不僅成為了一個服務(wù)于醫(yī)院的商業(yè)空間，優(yōu)化了城市空間布局，更為患者提供了直觀便捷的導(dǎo)航體驗。

The traffic organization efficiently manages conventional vehicular flows while placing special emphasis on seamless integration of multiple modes of transportation. At the southeast corner of the building, a sunken urban plaza is reserved to connect directly with the under-construction subway station. This sunken plaza not only serves as a commercial space supporting the hospital and optimizing the urban spatial layout but also provides patients with a straightforward and convenient navigation experience.

中醫(yī)文化

Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture

中醫(yī)文化蘊含著深厚的中國文化底蘊和醫(yī)學(xué)智慧，這些在新中醫(yī)院的設(shè)計中得到了抽象的體現(xiàn)：密檐塔樓、中醫(yī)百寶箱般概念、大屋檐的延伸、灰白色彩的搭配以及木質(zhì)材料的溫暖觸感。這些設(shè)計元素不僅為醫(yī)院空間增添了濃郁的文化氛圍，而且讓患者在治療過程中能夠深刻感受到中國文化的獨特魅力。

The culture of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) embodies the profound heritage of Chinese culture and the wisdom of Chinese medicine, which is abstractly reflected in the design of the New Central Hospital. Elements such as the densely layered eaves of the tower, the concept of a TCM "treasure box," the extended overhanging eaves, the harmonious gray-white color palette, and the warm tactile qualities of wooden materials infuse the hospital space with a rich cultural ambiance. These design features not only enhance the environment but also allow patients to deeply experience the unique charm of Chinese culture during their treatment journey.

十字醫(yī)療街

Cross-Shaped Medical Street

效率是醫(yī)療建筑設(shè)計的核心考量。新中醫(yī)院的十字醫(yī)療街設(shè)計，便是解決醫(yī)技、住院部、門診、急診等復(fù)雜功能關(guān)系的有效模式。這條醫(yī)療街不僅是病患就診的主要路徑，也是設(shè)計中經(jīng)過反復(fù)推敲與優(yōu)化的關(guān)鍵所在。其尺度適中、分診便捷、明亮而溫馨的環(huán)境設(shè)計，讓患者在就診過程中感受到充分的舒適與便利。

Efficiency is a core consideration in the design of medical buildings. The cross-shaped medical street in the New Central Hospital serves as an effective solution for integrating the complex functional relationships between medical technology, inpatient wards, outpatient services, and emergency care. This medical street is not only the primary pathway for patients but also a focal point of iterative refinement in the design. Its appropriately scaled layout, convenient triage system, and bright, welcoming environment ensure that patients experience maximum comfort and convenience throughout their visit.

精神中心

Spiritual Center

中醫(yī)文化中，意念的配合治療占據(jù)著舉足輕重的地位。十字醫(yī)療街的中心，是一個圓形的中庭。它不僅是交通轉(zhuǎn)換的核心節(jié)點，更是一個讓人心靈得以寧靜，力量得以匯聚的場所。這個中庭，仿佛集天地之靈氣，調(diào)人體之陰陽，為前來就診的患者提供了一個心靈的避風(fēng)港，讓他們在病痛之中找到一絲慰藉與希望。

In traditional Chinese medicine, the integration of mental focus plays a crucial role in treatment. At the heart of the cross-shaped medical street lies a circular atrium, which serves not only as a central hub for traffic flow but also as a space for fostering tranquility, confidence, and strength. This atrium, as if imbued with the essence of nature, harmonizes the body's yin and yang, offering patients a spiritual sanctuary amidst their struggles with illness. It provides a moment of solace and hope, bringing comfort to those in need.

魚骨式分科候診

Herringbone Departmental Waiting Design

在新中醫(yī)院的設(shè)計中，魚骨式的分科設(shè)計成為提升醫(yī)療服務(wù)質(zhì)量的關(guān)鍵環(huán)節(jié)。這種布局不僅確保了各個科室之間的流暢銜接，還最大限度地提升了患者與醫(yī)護人員的便捷性?；颊呖梢栽谳p松的環(huán)境中等待就診，醫(yī)護人員也能夠迅速響應(yīng)各種需求，營造出一個高效、專業(yè)的醫(yī)療服務(wù)環(huán)境。

The herringbone-style departmental design in the New Central Hospital is a key feature for enhancing the quality of medical services. This layout not only ensures seamless connections between various departments but also maximizes convenience for both patients and healthcare staff. Patients can wait for their appointments in a relaxed environment, while medical staff can efficiently respond to diverse needs, collectively fostering an efficient and professional healthcare service environment.

百草園

Herbal Garden

位于醫(yī)院西南角的百草園，不僅是一片綠意盎然的花園，更是醫(yī)院未來擴建的預(yù)留地。這片花園為患者提供了一個親近自然、放松心情的絕佳場所。百草園的設(shè)計也深刻體現(xiàn)了中醫(yī)與自然和諧共生的理念，為醫(yī)院的整體環(huán)境增添了一抹生機與活力，展現(xiàn)了醫(yī)院對于生態(tài)平衡與可持續(xù)發(fā)展的重視。

Located in the southwest corner of the hospital, the Herbal Garden is not just a lush green oasis but also a reserved site for future hospital expansion. This garden provides patients with a serene space to connect with nature and relax. Its design deeply reflects the philosophy of harmony between traditional Chinese medicine and nature, adding vitality and life to the hospital environment. It highlights the hospital's commitment to ecological balance and sustainable development.
